New POS construction and presentation helper by which Impression extends its graphics software background is named ArtiosCard.

Company's designers have got an effective instrument to design wraps and POS products whose production has been still increased. Software has many special functions simplifying and speeding designers work. It helps to develop, design and also prepare production, place graphics to a form and make cutting tools.
Software also contains a database of standard kinds of wraps - FEFCO, ECMA and thanks to it operator can design construction within few minutes using only basic dimensions. It is also possible to extend database or build a database of own designs.

Software also contains 3D program plug-in enabling by the very effective way to present POS sketches to a client. Technical drawing of each part of 3D stand can be completed by corresponding graphics and then you can "build" 3D view directly in the program unit. At that it's necessary to determine direction, kind and angle of bend to each folded edge. This way designed model is able to be exported to a file (.vrml) easily opened (using appropriate plug-in software) in standard Internet Explorer. You can then watch, rotate, turn or zoom the 3D model as it is possible in usual 3D presentations. This dramatically simplifies preparation process of POS production. It isn't necessary to make an opening real design but you can work only with PC models. It isn't necessary to send the real design maquette to the client.
Often it isn't needful to make the model at all. Another time it's necessary to make it only in process final for special purposes (e.g. heavy goods load test). Thanks to it preparation process of POS manufacturing is abbreviated for days, sometimes for weeks.
